UL 1482:2010

These requirements cover room heaters which are freestanding fire chamber assemblies of the circulating or direct radiation type. These products are for attachment to a residential type chimney intended for use with low-heat appliances and shall be used to burn solid fuels specified by the manufacturer. These products shall be manually or thermostatically controlled.
