This specification covers an aluminum alloy in the form of plate products from 1.000 to 6.000 inches (152.40 mm) in thickness.
7065-T7451 may be used in aerospace applications requiring high strength and fracture toughness, high resistance to stress-corrosion cracking and good resistance to exfoliation corrosion, but usage is not limited to such applications.
