This standard provides information and guidelines for obtaining and installing cleaned and coated steel reinforcing bars. Included are requirements for the epoxy coatings and instructions for ordering, cleaning, coating, inspecting, handling, and transporting the bars. There is also a table on flexibility test requirements and an appendix detailing requirements for fusion-bonded epoxy coatings and patching materials. This standard is maintained by Task Group (TG) 052.
