This document describes terms used to define instrument capabilities for electrical quantities, angular positioning, optical radiation detectors, airflow, and temperature. In addition, the reader is informed about cautions that needs to be observed when selecting, maintaining, and using measuring instruments in the photometric laboratory while maintaining appropriate levels of uncertainty.
