Specifies requirements for accuracy of reading, tolerances on loose weights, and general performance and reliability for domestic (i.e., non-commercial) weighing instruments for cookery for use in homes and schools, etc. Does not apply to postal weighing instruments, baby-weighing instruments and bathroom scales.
