This standard describes polyacrylamide (PAM) for use in water supply service. The purpose of this standard is to provide the minimum general requirements for PAM products, including physical, chemical, packaging, shipping, and testing requirements and to provide the means of developing requirements for PAM products. The major revisions to this edition consisted of general editorial changes throughout the standard.
