1.1This specification covers the requirements for commercial wrought nonferrous nuts in nominal thread diameters M6 to M36 inclusive in a number of alloys in common use and intended for general service applications.

1.2Applicable bolts, cap screws, and studs for use with nuts covered by this specification are covered by Specification F468M.

1.3The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.
