1.1This practice covers the preparation or breaking-in of paint-roller covers for evaluation.

1.2This practice is applicable to paint-roller covers having nap lengths up to 13 mm [¹/₂in.]. Longer pile rollers can be adapted.

1.3The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated in each system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, each system shall be used independently of the other.
