1.1This specification establishes requirements for brass rod (round, hexagonal, and octagonal), bar (rectangular and square), and shapes of UNS Alloys C21000, C22000, C23000, C24000, C26000, C26800, C27000, C27400, C27450, C27451, C27453, and C28500.

1.2Units-The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated in each system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, each system shall be used independently of the other. Combining values from the two systems may result in non-conformance with the standard.
