ASME B30.2-2005

B30.2 applies to overhead and gantry cranes with a top running bridge of single or multiple girder construction, utilizing a top running trolley, including polar, semigantry, canti-lever gantry, wall cranes, and others having the same fundamental characteristics. This volume includes both power-driven and hand-operated equipment. These cranes are grouped because they all have top running trolleys and similar travel characteristics.
