Relates to standard grade cold-reduced electrolytic tinplate and cold-reduced blackplate in sheet form, in nominal thicknesses from 0.20 mm to 0.60 mm, but does not apply to double-reduced material or material described as tinned sheets, steel sheets or TFS. It provides for steel types L, MR, stabilized and nitrogenized, and for four surface finishes for tinplate and two for blackplate. Composition, tolerances, tin coating mass, identification and packaging are specified.
