Application, materials, design, structure, clearances and tolerances, ancillary equipment, cabins, platforms and ladders, mechanisms, stability, controls, inspection and testing, maintenance and marking are covered. Appendices provide guidance on assessing mechanism, classification, tolerances, storing and retrieving machine and system layouts, assessment of appliance performance, test certificates, and maintenance procedures.
