Defines fundamental terms for aspects of voltage and power including rated conditions. It also explains balanced circuits, noise and amplitude non-linearity in terms of distortion; defines a simple method of assessment and correlation of results of different measurements. It is identical with and has been reproduced from IEC 268-2:1987.
