This standard is a revision of a document developed by the AIAA Solar Cells and Solar Panels Committee on Standards. It focuses on space solar panel qualification; much effort and care has been taken to clarify requirements and resolve other issues that were present in the original version. It establishes the quality requirements and provides the methods for establishing the qualification of electrical components integrated onto spacecraft solar panels.
