Specifies minimum labeling, safety, performance, and testing requirements for small steam sterilizers that have a volume less than or equal to 2 cubic feet, that have automatic controls, that generate steam from water within the sterilization chamber or from an integral steam generator, and that provide a means of controlling time and temperature.
