This Practice describes the requirements for installing circuits for power and control to AC squirrel cage induction motors (600 volts and below, 60 hp maximum), located in Class I, Division 1 areas. This Practice tabularizes the basic assumptions used in developing these details and provides guidelines for their application. These details were originally published in ELIMT000 which was withdrawn May 2008.
