Intended to produce greater consistency in Liquor Control Bylaws, the Standard covers such matters as specification of public places, days and times where the Bylaw applies, the powers of the police and exemptions to the Bylaw, and should be read in conjunction with the Local Government Act 2002, sections 147, 169 and 170.
