NZS 5465:2001A1

This amendment allows the introduction of an easily recognisable sticker on the rear of the vehicle identifying self-contained vehicles that meet the NZS 5465 Standard. It will minimise the time and effort enforcement officers will need to ensure motor caravans and caravans are compliant. Failure to display the sticker on the rear of the vehicle is not an offence under the Standard, as it is on the exterior of the vehicle and may be subject to weathering or defacement. Enforcement officers should check both or either the front windscreen warrant and/or the Self Containment Certificate as these are mandatory. The administering of this Standard has been changed to remove the administering authority.
