Amendment 2 to NZS 3122 introduces requirements for sampling and testing to cover all Portland and blended cements supplied into the New Zealand market. It covers properties, test method, source, and frequency. A provision has been added to restrict the total alkali content to assist in reducing the risk of damage from Alkali Silica Reaction.
