This NACE International technical committee report was written for individuals who specify and use metallic coatings. Its purpose is to provide information on the use of electroless nickel coatings for protection against corrosion and wear. The report describes three types of electroless nickel coatings that are applied for engineering purposes: nickel-phosphorus deposits, nickel-boron deposits, and composite coatings.
