JIS K 6386:2019 specifies the classification of rubber materials used for the products of rubber vibration isolator (hereafter referred to as rubber vibration isolators), which are generally used for the purpose of preventing the transmission of vibration and impact, and absorbing vibration or shock. This Standard, however, does not cover ebonite, cellular rubber, and rubber reinforced with fabrics and cords.
