Near-Field photometry describes the spatial flux distribution of a luminaire in a manner that permits accurate illuminance calculations at close distances. Application distance photometry, a method of near-field photometry, uses test distances that equal the distances at which lighting application and illuminance calculations are made.It provides intensity distributions for many test distances.
