This corrigendum corrects an error in the approved IEEE Std 802.11bc-2023. In subclause 9.4.5.1, Table 9-331, the ANQP element EBCS is assigned a new Information ID value. The purpose of this standard is to provide wireless connectivity for fixed, portable, and moving stations within a local area. This standard also offers regulatory bodies a means of standardizing access to one or more frequency bands for the purpose of local area communication. Corrigendum Standard - Active - Draft. A change to IEEE Std 802.11 for wireless local area networks (WLANs) that corrects an error in the number used for the information identifier (ID) for the EBCS element of the access network query protocol (ANQP).
