The Standard set forth herein apply to the first edition of the Standard for Pressure Relief Devices For Compressed Natural Gas Vehicle (NGV) Fuel Containers, ANSI PRD1-1998 and ANSI PRD1a-1999, and supersede corresponding standards therein. Following their preparation by the supervising Technical Advisory Group, they were accepted by ANSI and subsequently approved.
