BS PAS 1296:2018

BS PAS 1296:2018 gives recommendations for a framework forthe provision and use of online age check services. Thisincludes, for example. checking the age of those:

• a) buying age-restricted merchandise online [e.g.e-liquids (nicotine), adult materials, dangerousgoods];
• b) accessing online content (e.g. streaming media,adult content);
• c) using online services (e.g. dating services, gamingor gambling websites); and
• d) enabling access to online age-gated material andservices (e.g. education for minors and health forseniors).
