Provides universal means of interconnection between component units of domestic multipurpose audio-visual systems, the individual units being capable of simple operation separately or simultaneously by non-specialist users. Applies to developments in broadcasting and telecommunications (eg. videography, DBS); video technology applications (including electronic cameras); and home computing equipment.
