Abstract

This document covers the basic elements of safety applicable to all welding, cutting, and related processes. Subjects such as fumes and gases, precautionary labeling, handling of compressed gases, and electrical safety, in addition to hazards that are unique to particular welding or cutting processes, are addressed. A supplementary reading list is included.
