AS 4840-2001

Specifies the requirements of low pressure regulators for use with industrial compressed gas pipelines. The gas pressure in these pipelines is not to exceed 2100 kPa. These low pressure regulators are intended for industrial use, and regulators intended for medical gas pipeline use, together, with fixed delivery LP gas regulators for domestic and recreational purposes, are not covered by this Standard. As a guide and recommendation, regulators for use in beverage dispensing pipelines have been included in This Standard for users in that industry.
