AS 3871.3-1994

Applies to recording and reproducing equipment for sound on magnetic tape (reel-to-reel, cassette and cartridge) for both professional and domestic applications. It does not apply to special purpose equipment such as high speed duplicators, artificial reverberation recorders or dictation machines. This Standard is identical with and has been reproduced from IEC 94-3:1979, including Amendment 1:1980 and Amendment 2:1988.
