Applies to capacitor units and assemblies with accessories to form complete capacitor banks, for connection to power systems of rated voltages above 660 V, at frequencies to 100 Hz, for use primarily for power factor correction. Characteristics and test requirements are enumerated in detail. Appendices give guidance on application, operation and protection.
