Specifies requirements for materials to be used for filling the root canal space with or without the aid of obturating points. Covers materials only intended for orthograde use. Materials, physical properties, sterility, information to be supplied by the manufacturer, packaging and marking requirements are laid down. Appendices include methods of test for flow properties, working and setting times of setting materials, and solubility and disintegration.
