AS 1861.1-1988

Sets out test conditions and test procedures for refrigerated room air-conditioners up to 12 kW nominal rating, with or without reverse-cycle room heating capabilities and in the form of single-unit appliances or split systems. It also establishes a standard basis for rating according to function. An appendix provides for its use by the Department of Defence, and a second appendix deals with computation of normalized sound level.
