AS 1038.15-1987

Sets out two methods, viz. a furnace method and a heating microscope method for the determination of the fusibility characteristics of higher rank coal ash and coke ash by heating a moulded specimen of the prepared ash, recording the shape of the moulded specimen at regular intervals and determining the temperatures at which the characteristic fusibility shapes occur.
