AIAA S-001-1991

This standard provides terminology for describing the characteristics and properties of structures launched into or assembled in Earth orbit. Aspects of such structures as they relate to communications, observation, energy, transportation, environmental control, materials processing, and construction are covered. The standard is intended to assist designers, writers, and others concerned with technical communication in aerospace technology toward common usage with respect to space structures. (ANSI approved)
